Private Consultations
With Feathered Friends help is just a phone call away. We offer clients an exciting opportunity to consult one-on-one with our trainer through your choice of four options:
· Home Consultations
· Phone Consultations
· Email Consultations
· Zoo Consultations
By utilising these options either as a combination or individually, you will be involved every step of the way in resolving any specific behavioural or training issues you may have. You may also wish to discover how our enrichment programs can improve your birds way of life.
Consultation Procedure
Step 1: Fill out the enquiry form stating your preferred consultation method and click on the submit button.
Step 2: Following our receipt of a completed request form, you will be emailed payment options.
Step 3: After payment is recieved a detailed questionnaire will be emailed to you.
Step 4: After we review your completed questionnaire, a mutual date will be arranged for your consultation.
Home consultations
Home consultations are focused on addressing behaviour problems in the home environment. Our trainer will come to your home and observe your bird in its own environment; our trainer will then work with you and your family to address your requirements. Clients are asked to fill out our pre-consult questionnaire to aid us in determining your needs, so we can ensure you receive the maximum benefit from your time.
Home consultations are currently only available in the greater Sydney region. To obtain a quote for a home consultation with our trainer, please fill out and submit the form below and we will get back to you as soon as possible.(Members are entitled to a 15% discount)
Phone consultations
Phone consultations are an excellent tool for over coming many behavioural or training issues. Sessions may include consultation on diet, enrichment, enclosures and basic behaviour or training issues. Clients are asked to fill out our pre-consult questionnaire to aid us in determining your needs, so we can ensure you receive the maximum benefit from your time.
Sessions are charged at $55.00 per hour (Members price: $47.00) and after your payment has been received, we will schedule your phone consultation at a time that`s convenient for you. To submit your interest in a private phone consultation with our trainer, please fill out and submit the form below and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Email consultations
If you would like expert advice on behaviour or training requirements and you would like to address the situation at your own pace, you can receive professional advice from our trainer via a comprehensive e-mail response. Clients are asked to fill out our pre-consult questionnaire to aid us in determining your needs, so we can ensure you receive the maximum benefit from your consultation.
The fee charged for an email consultation is $55.00 (Members price: $47.00). Subsequent questions that relate to the original problem or training goal are not charged extra within 6 weeks of receiving your first email consultation. To submit your interest in an email consultation with our trainer, please fill out and submit the form below and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Zoo consultations
Feathered Friends can provide training consultations based on positive reinforcement principles for facilities such as zoos, Australia wide. Training gives handlers and vets the opportunity to carry out their jobs more safely and easily and is a vital tool in animal care, birds are also mentally stimulated and enjoy the close attention they receive during training sessions.
